Our offering

Sulzer SMR Mixer-Reactor is a state-of-the-art device in removing heat from viscous material, it is used as a polymerization reactor or as a polymer cooler. It has been successfully applied to the synthetic fiber industry as primary or secondary PET melt cooler, either in grass-root plants or retrofitted into an existing plant. 

Polymer fibres require immediate cooling after the polymerization reactor to reduce thermal degradation. The Sulzer Mixer Reactor is a tube bundle heat exchanger that allows high-effective cooling of viscous media. The SMR is your first choice, if you wish to combine effective mixing with controlled heat transfer.
